FAQ

New to our concerts? Here are some frequently asked questions.

  • Where are the concerts?
    • All concerts on our subscription series are held in Stude Concert Hall in the Alice Pratt Brown Hall on the Rice University campus. Enter the campus from either Rice Blvd. or University Blvd. as shown on this map.
     
  • Where do I park?
    • You may park in West Lot 1 directly across the street from Alice Pratt Brown Hall. Additional parking is available in West Lot 4, as shown on this map. Attendants will be at the entry gates should you need assistance. Rice University charges $4 for concert parking. You must pay by major credit card as you enter the lot. Valet parking is also available at the curb for a fee.
     
  • How do I purchase tickets?
    • Tickets may be purchased online, by phoning 713-348-5400 or at the box office in the foyer. We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard or Discover.
     
  • I've ordered my tickets, but how will I get them?
    • Tickets purchased for single events will be available at the Will Call table just inside the foyer beginning 45 minutes prior to the concert. Subscription tickets will be mailed to you during the summer.
     
  • What if I've purchased tickets, but now I can't attend the concert?
    • You can donate your tickets by calling 713-348-5400 any time before 6:00 PM on the day of the concert. We will send you an acknowledgment of your gift. Subscribers may exchange tickets for another concert at no additional charge, depending on seat availability. Just call our office.
     
  • What about my electronic devices?
    • The noises and light emitted by cell phones, tablets and other such devices are very distracting. Please turn off any and all of these devices before entering the concert hall.
